The Background Story

Yup, some of our USI UNITE Team alumni have decided to have some fun with those of us who are still toiling away with the data coming down from the USI UNITE CubeSat circling the Earth. They snuck into the UNITE CubeSat Spacecraft Assembly Facility (SAF) and Mission Operations Center (MOC), pilfered some patches, lifted a Lego piece, carried off a coaster, and walked off with ..., well, we're not even sure what else they purloined from the basement of the BE. And get this.  They've hidden the items on the USI campus!  Fortunately, they left us a list of cryptic clues as to the whereabouts of the UNITE memorabilia. But, unfortunately, like I said, the UNITE team is toiling away on the temperature data, the magnetometer data, the plasma data and any other data UNITE chooses to transmit to us on a given day.  Being busy with this data, we need your help finding these precious UNITE keepsakes. So, we the UNITE team are offering a reward for the identification of the...

The Hidden UNITE Mementos

Here are the items the illustrious UNITE alumni stole from the UNITE facilities: 1.  A UNITE Patch. 2. A NASA patch. 3.  A drink coaster with this image on it (image courtesy of NASA and NanoRacks): 4. A  Lego piece from the Lego model of the UNITE CubeSat, in this case it's a piece modeling one of our deployment switches. 5.  Now our wonderful former UNITE members have stolen something else from the UNITE Labs, and they haven't told us what it is, and we're not even sure ourselves what is missing. This is going to be a tough one.
