The Background Story

Yup, some of our USI UNITE Team alumni have decided to have some fun with those of us who are still toiling away with the data coming down from the USI UNITE CubeSat circling the Earth.

They snuck into the UNITE CubeSat Spacecraft Assembly Facility (SAF) and Mission Operations Center (MOC), pilfered some patches, lifted a Lego piece, carried off a coaster, and walked off with ..., well, we're not even sure what else they purloined from the basement of the BE.

And get this.  They've hidden the items on the USI campus!  Fortunately, they left us a list of cryptic clues as to the whereabouts of the UNITE memorabilia.

But, unfortunately, like I said, the UNITE team is toiling away on the temperature data, the magnetometer data, the plasma data and any other data UNITE chooses to transmit to us on a given day.  Being busy with this data, we need your help finding these precious UNITE keepsakes.

So, we the UNITE team are offering a reward for the identification of the location of each UNITE item on campus.  Once you have identified its location, we will go pick it up and return it safely to our UNITE facilities.

Below are posts on "The Hidden UNITE Mementos," "The Rules and the $50 Rewards," and "The Clues" and the "Winners."

Good luck!

And, oh, by the way, you're probably going to need to know something about the UNITE project, so here's a link to a recent paper, a recent presentation, and the UNITE Mission Readiness Review.
