1. The UNITE Treasure Hunt is only open to registered students at the University of Southern Indiana. Present and past UNITE Team members are not eligible.
2. The UNITE Treasure Hunt will conclude at 11:59 p.m. CDT on September 15, 2019. Any questions should be directed to UNITETreasureHunt@gmail.com . [Update: the new deadline is 11:59 p.m. CDT September 22, 2019.]
3. If you locate one of the UNITE mementos, do not remove it. Simply take a photo of it. Email your name, USI ID number and the photo, along with a brief description of where you found it, to gkissel@usi.edu. Later you will be asked to sign your name and ID number on a listing that includes the item you have found. This will be forwarded to Accounts Payable so that you can receive the prize money.
4. Absolutely no digging or removing of objects is necessary to successfully locate the items. Simply looking high, low and in between, opening a door, and inquiring should do the trick. Note that a clue may point to the location of more than one item.
5. A reward of $50 is available for each UNITE memento found. A given USI student will be eligible for only one reward. Any one caught tampering or removing any UNITE memento from its location will be disqualified from receiving an award. Any reward unclaimed because a memento is not found will revert to the USI Foundation. Any reward not claimed by a winner by December 31, 2019 will revert to the USI Foundation. Each winner will be informed how to claim and receive the $50 reward, once a winning find is verified. Any tampering with a UNITE memento could cancel the ability to receive a reward for finding it.
6. Any dispute arising about these Rules and Rewards will be resolved by Professor Glen Kissel. His decisions will be final.
